A unique coffee experience

- PEPPER TEEHANKEE

The Nespresso Boutique has finally opened at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati City. It is the company’s latest opening in the Asian region, which now has a total of nine markets.

Available at this 140-sqm. boutique are Nespresso’s topof-the-line coffee machines and premium coffee collection. Here, Nespresso fans can enjoy the unique Tasting Bar where they can try the brand’s different coffee varieties and recipes.

During the boutique’s launch, the mall’s drop-off point was closed to the public to give way to the guests. They were greeted with a red-carpet entrance and performances by soprano Rachelle Gerodias and the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. Guests also enjoyed scrumptious food from Cibo by chef Margarita Forés as they tried a special coffee cocktail recipe called “Nespresso Sunrise.”

The Nespresso story was told through a video with a song and dance performance. For the grand finale, the boutique was unveiled with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Renaud Tinel, Nespresso head of Asia, said, “We are delighted to expand and reinforce our partnership with Novateur in B2C (Business to Consumer), while accelerating the existing OOH (Out of Home) business and we look forward to sharing more inspiring Nespresso coffee moments with coffee enthusiasts in the Philippines.”

Novateur Coffee Concepts Inc. managing director Patrick

Pesengco added, “Nespresso speaks of passion, premium quality and innovation. It is a highly regarded global brand. In the past, Filipinos could only enjoy Nespresso on their trips abroad but now, we bring your favorite coffee closer to you. Through this boutique, we hope to introduce you to a world of unique coffee experiences.” (The Nespresso Boutique is located at R1, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati City.
