ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE TOWARD DEVELOPMENT:

Philippine Rice Research Institute research specialist Dr. Ricardo Orge was recently awarded the Manila Water Foundation Prize for Engineering Excellence in a ceremony held at Seda Vertis North, Quezon City. Orge received the award in recognition of his contributions and technology-based solutions toward the improvement of farming practices in the Northern Luzon region, allowing beneficiary farmer cooperatives more efficient processing and additional income streams.
