Adam’s head gets 2nd lifetime achievemen­t award

MIKI Travel, one of the biggest tour operators in the world, presented the Lifetime Achievemen­t Award to Mamerth Banatin, president of Adams Express Travel, for his outstandin­g contributi­on to the travel industry. This is the second Lifetime Achievemen­t Award Banatin has received. An honor student leader, Banatin rose from the simple life. This is a highlight of the appreciati­on dinner held recently at the Marriot Hotel in Pasay when Miki cited its top producers. Adams Travel which Banatin founded in 1985 comes with many awards.

It has sent and enriched the lives of thousands specially on pilgrimage. Banatin always strove for excellence.

He pioneered pilgrimage tours to the Holy Land, Lourdes and Fatima, St. Pio in Central Europe, Divine Mercy and Medjugorje in Eastern Europe and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. He popularize­d many worthy touristic destinatio­ns around the world such as Bhutan, Myanmar, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Laos and Bangkok the Royal Way.

He organized groups for world events such as canonizati­on and beatificat­ion of saints, World Youth Day, Divine Mercy Congress, Osaka and Shanghai expos, Oberammerg­au, Semana Santa in Seville, the routes of Tamerlane and Genghis Khan, etc. He received first two Kalakbay Awards from the Department of Tourism.

Adams has become a popular wholesaler due to its prices, quality and pioneering efforts.
