A man who allegedly robbed Indians was arrested in San Andres Bukid, Manila Saturday afternoon.

Antonio Carayacay, 36, was apprehended after Nachatter Singh, 24, a resident of Sta. Mesa, complained to the Manila Police District Station 6 that he was robbed along Estrada street as he was collecting debt payments from clients.

Carayacay allegedly took Singh’s money and jewelry and fled toward Zobel street.

A knife, four bullets and a sachet of shabu were recovered from Carayacay during his arrest in a follow-up operation.

Sagaysay said two of the suspect’s alleged accomplices – Raymond Dulot, 30, and Christian Martin, 18 – were arrested earlier.

She said the group was responsible for robbing Indian moneylenders in the area.
