Soldier, teacher robbed at gunpoint

LABRADOR, Pangasinan – A Marine trooper and a teacher were robbed at gunpoint by motorcycle-riding men in separate incidents in this province on Friday.

Cpl. Joseph Servanda, 29, was waiting for a ride in this town when a motorcycle with two men on board pulled over in front of him.

One of the men reportedly poked a gun at Servanda and took his bag containing identifica­tion cards, a phone and P10,000 cash.

Meanwhile, Monica Garcia, 24, a teacher, was waiting for a bus in front of a barangay hall in Bugallon town when two motorcycle-riding men poked a gun at her.

The suspects took Garcia’s bag containing identifica­tion cards, P200 cash, a laptop and a phone. –
