More Filipino families will get the chance to bond every weekend over Filipino hit movies as ABS-CBN TVplus’

Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) launches its biggest offer this year — access via all mobile networks beginning this month.

For only P30, families subscribed to Globe, Smart, Sun, TM, Talk n’ Text and ABS-CBNmobile can catch the bundle of five movies with a special highlight each weekend.

Take advantage of this new offering and catch KBO’s extended weekend with its Lenten selection, which includes the KBO premiere of Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla’s comeback movie, Unexpected­ly Yours today.

Sharon and Julia Barretto play mother and daughter, Patty and Yanni. Their quiet lives get an unexpected shake-up when love starts knocking at their door as Cocoy (Robin), Patty’s friend from high school, and his nephew, Jason (Joshua Garcia), fall for the two of them.

The movie, which also stars the rising love team of this generation JoshLia (Joshua and Julia), raked in about P218M worldwide.

Also showing during this extended KBO weekend are heartwarmi­ng movies about family and love.

See how the Bonifacios mend their broken bonds to rally for their father who has been diagnosed with cancer in the family drama hit of 2017, Seven Sundays. It stars Ronaldo Valdez as Manuel Bonifacio, the father who sees his sickness as a chance to bring together his four children, played by Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil and Cristine Reyes.

Then follow the journey of a man who will face his responsibi­lities as a father for the first time and come to terms with the new person it has made him. Set under the awe-inspiring northern lights of Alaska, Northern Lights: A Journey to Love, stars Piolo Pascual with child actor Raikko Mateo and the upcoming leading lady, Yen Santos.

Meanwhile, Jodi Sta. Maria plays Chinggay, a woman in her 30s looking for love in The Achy Breaky Hearts. After years of being single, Chinggay, (Jodi) is now being pursued by handsome men (Ian Veneracion and Richard Yap). She learns that happiness can come from loving one’s self.

Rounding up the Lenten line-up is In My Life starring the Star for all Seasons, Vilma Santos. John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano play Noel and Mark, a gay couple living in the US. Their life is disrupted when Shirley (Vilma), Mark’s mother, lives with them after being evicted by her ex-husband. She has a hard time adjusting to their situation but in the end, she learns to accept Noel as part of their family.
