Baek Ji young returns to RWm
Three popular South Korean singers come together in Resort World Manila’s (RWM) Newport Performing Arts Theater for The First Story of KPlus Concert tomorrow at 8 p.m.
Baek Ji Young, Yoo Sung Eun and Danny Jung will share the stage for a night of music featuring K-pop hits and themes from favorite K-dramas.
The concert marks headliner Baek’s second visit to RWM after her successful Close Up in Manila concert in 2015. She has released eight studio albums and has won awards for Best Female Artist and Best Original Soundtrack at the MNET Asian Music Awards.
She has also provided music for such K-dramas as Secret Garden, The Greatest Love, Rooftop Prince, Arang and The Magistrate and Love in the Moonlight, among others.
Joining Baek is You Sung Eun who was the runner-up in The Voice of Korea in 2012.
Meanwhile, contemporary jazz artist Danny Jung joins the two talented ladies in the concert. Danny has released hit tracks, including This is My Father’s World and I Am Thine, from the All About Hymns collection.
