‘Man used nephew, 8, in drug deals’

An eight-year-old boy allegedly used by his uncle in drug transactio­ns and 10 others were arrested in separate operations in Quezon City in the past two days.

The 24-year-old suspect was nabbed with his minor nephew during a drug bust in Barangay Holy Spirit.

Police said they were able to buy P500 worth of drugs from the two, who yielded six sachets of shabu.

The minor was turned over to the Social Services Developmen­t Department of Quezon City.

Anti-narcotics agents apprehende­d four persons in another sting along Congressio­nal Road in Barangay Bahay Toro.

They were Solomon Fulache, 43; Jorge Victor Baguisi, 25; Jose Gilbert Arcangel, 46, and Maria Gwendolyn Bello.

Police said they recovered P50,000 worth of shabu from the suspects.

Jaimeto Saludario, 47, and Emmanuel Fagtanac, 35, were caught while allegedly engaged in a pot session along Sinagtala street also in Quezon City.

In Barangay Apolonio Samson, police arrested Arturo Viniegas, 35, and April Ann Macascas, 25, for alleged shabu possession.

Three more drug suspects were collared in Barangays Doña Imelda, Apolonio Samson and West Fairview.

They were Karl Avenido, 27; Ricky Andrade, 30, and John Dominador Salenga.

Five persons were held in separate anti-drug operations in Mandaluyon­g and Marikina yesterday.

Jeffrey Agsaulio, Rizaldy Bamba, Jenny Bañez, Eric dela Rosa and Michael Lim allegedly yielded shabu and drug parapherna­lia.
