PACC head at CREBA meet
Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) chairman Dante Jimenez will be the guest of honor and speaker at this year’s fourth monthly business meeting of the Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations Inc. (CREBA) to be held from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City on April 26.
This was announced by Charlie Gorayeb, CREBA national chairman and Noel Toti Carino, national president.
Formerly chairman of the private sector-led Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), Jimenez was appointed PACC chief last January following the issuance of President Duterte’s Executive Order No. 43.
The EO mandates the commission “to directly assist the President in investigating and/or hearing administrative cases primarily involving graft and/or corruption against all presidential appointees” in the executive branch of the government and any of its agencies and instrumentalities, including the armed forces and the police, as necessary.
Toward its vision of “A Home for Every Filipino,” CREBA’s aspirations for the homeless sector are embodied in its “Five-point Agenda for Housing,” a package of policy and legislative reform proposals developed over the years which target the provision of 500,000 housing units per year to address homelessness within a period of 20 years.
CREBA’s monthly meeting serves as a forum for industry stakeholders and government officials to express their views and initiatives on issues affecting the real estate and housing industry.
