Grupo Sapatero Bags Silver Anvil

Pioneer Adhesives Inc. attained another milestone as they bagged the Silver Anvil Award in the 53rd Anvil Awards on March 23, recognizing their community outreach program “Grupo Sapatero” under the Public Relations Programs directed at Specific Stakeholders category.

Grupo Sapatero was honored for its endeavor of revitalizing the local shoe industry in the Philippines, which has been facing a decline in their business caused by the surge of cheaper and foreign footwear products in the market.

This program was initiated not only to give assistance to its members, but also give free training and workshops, focuses on its two primary stakeholders: local shoemakers and the store owners.
