Lanao del Norte execs surrender loose guns

ILIGAN CITY – Local executives in Lanao del Norte surrendered 57 unlicensed firearms on Monday, the military reported yesterday.

Maigo town Mayor Rafael Rizalda turned over 34 guns to Col. Ezra James Enriquez, 2nd Mechanized Brigade deputy commander.

Pantao-Ragat Vice Mayor Lacson Lantud surrendered 23 guns to Col. Robert Dauz.

The crackdown against loose firearms is part of the implementation of martial law in Mindanao.
