Your weekdays just got better. From 3-6 p.m. and 9-12 midnight at The Podium, and 3-8 p.m. at Resorts World, you can enjoy a wide array of cocktails, beers and wines at a special price in Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener. Whether you need a midday pick-me-up or a well-deserved nightcap, you are sure to find something just for you in both locations.
“The happy hour selection boasts of a variety of classic and unique cocktails by our own bartenders, local and international beer like Stella Artois and Hoegaarden, and wines from our famed cellar at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse,” says Travis Halverson, general manager of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse The Podium.
In the mood for a refresher? Whether you’re in Resorts World Manila or Ortigas, try Overthyme, a cocktail that combines thyme, oregano and strawberry with Botanist gin and ginger beer. You’ll also get an unexpected zing from a dash of balsamic vinegar, and tartness from freshly juiced ruby red grapefruit.
If you’re up for something familiar, Downtown Manila is a modern twist on the Filipino classic, gin pomelo. This cocktail combines Hendricks gin with fresh pomelo, lemon juice, and house-made rosemary syrup.
Jalisco Spike, available exclusively at the Ortigas location, fuses spicy, sour and salty flavors: 100% Blue Agave Tequila is enhanced by the fresh and robust spice of ginger and house-made all-spice syrup. To make an extra layer of flavor, black currant liqueur is added together with fresh lime juice for a sour kick, while saline solution, made from Prague salt, gives it a dry and salty finish.
If cocktails aren’t your thing, try something from their renowned wine cellar. A glass of Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon offers up rich flavors of ripe red fruits, while a serving of Santoro Chardonnay infuses tropical flavors, like pineapple and peach, with an herby mint to complement the acidity.
