Free seminar-workshop for HS guidance counselors
The University of the East (UE), through its marketing department in cooperation with its guidance and counseling offices in UE Manila and Caloocan campuses, will conduct its annual high school guidance counselors (HSGC) seminar-workshop for free tomorrow, from 8 a.m. to 5p.m., at the multi-purpose hall of the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Building, UE Caloocan, 105 Samson Road, Caloocan City.
Invited resource speaker is Dr. Aime Guarino, chairperson of the Philippine Association of Counselor Educators Research and Supervision), who will talk on the topic “Promoting Mental Health through Development and Implementation of Responsive Counseling Programs and Services,” for this year’s gathering of HSGCs at the UE Caloocan.
Now on its 11th year, this seminar-workshop, conducted as an appreciation for the guidance counselors’ efforts in guiding students to bring out the best in them to achieve their goals, serves as an avenue to provide a continuing professional education to HSGCs and to promote career development.
