Nippon Conglomerate taps Maureen Montagne as ambassadress to the world
Newly-crowned Century Tuna’s Superbod 2018 Maureen Montagne
(far right) has been chosen by executive director Hiromasa Suzuki of the Gate of Assets Foundation and Yasurai Okada, the CEO of Nippon Conglomerate Hallohallo, Inc. to represent their Group of Companies in the Philippines and other parts of Asia and the world.
Suzuki of HalloHallo Alliance (a conglomerate that brought MNL48 at It’s Showtime over ABS-CBN) was so impressed by Maureen’s social expertise and the communication skills at the grand launch of the new GOSPORT first outlet in Duty Free Philippines Fiesta Mall in Parañaque City that he strongly endorsed her to his boss and the group of investors in Japan.
Despite the long hours of waiting and standing in heels with guests, Maureen never showed any sign of discomfort. She performed the task well of interviewing the main man of GOSPORT, former Ilocos Gov. Chavit Singson with his partner Sen. Manny Pacquiao.
In 2013, Maureen won first runner-up in the Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant in which she competed as Mutya ng Arizona (representing the Filipino-American overseas community). In 2017, she ended up first runnerup at the America’s Miss World pageant.
Though she grew up and stayed almost all her life in Chandler, Arizona, USA (where she was discovered by now-US-based society-fashion photographer Ihman Esturco, winning a title in her mother’s native country was a rewarding experience for her. She’s staying in the country for good to continue her modeling and acting career.
