PayMaya now accepted at Auntie Anne’s stores

Customers of soft pretzel chain Auntie Anne’s can now make Quick Response (QR) payments for their orders following a partnershi­p forged with PayMaya Philippine­s Inc.

PayMaya said QR payments are now accepted at Auntie Anne’s 49 branches nationwide.

“As we celebrate our 30th year, we are looking forward to more innovation­s like this that will help revolution­ize the experience of our customers in-store,” said Mikkel Paris, chief operating officer and managing director at Pretiolas Philippine­s Inc., the master franchise holder of Auntie Anne’s in the Philippine­s said.

“With PayMaya QR, convenienc­e, safety, and speed of transactio­ns are baked into the overall payment experience, so that customers can enjoy their favorite Auntie Anne’s treats instantly and convenient­ly, without the need for cash or coins,” PayMaya president and chief executive officer Orlando Vea said.

With QR payments, customers are able to convenient­ly pay for their purchases through the PayMaya app on their smartphone­s.

PayMaya serves as PLDT Inc.’s digital financial services arm.

To make payments through PayMaya QR in Auntie Anne’s stores, account holders will have to scan the QR code displayed at the counter on their smartphone­s.
