Araw ng Maynila marked with Miss Manila pageant

In celebration of this year’s Araw ng Maynila, the city government of Manila, under the decree of Mayor Joseph Estrada, is holding a beauty-and-brains search where the best of the best will be ultimately crowned Miss Manila on June 26 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Miss Manila 2018 will receive P1M worth of prizes, consisting of a management contract and P500,000 in cash; first runner-up, P350,000 cash; second runner-up, P250,000 cash; third runner-up, P150,000 cash; and fourth runner-up, P100,000 cash.

The proceeds from this year’s pageant will benefit the medical missions and livelihood and education projects of the MARE Foundation, Inc., a non-profit institution headed by Jackie Ejercito who is also the pageant director.
