BEAUTY TALK WITH DR. VICKI BELO
It was a great afternoon. Freshly picked flowers that adorned quaint tables glistened as the sun shone through the big glass windows of one of Hong Kong’s top social addresses — Sevva!
A special afternoon tea party hosted by the gorgeous and statuesque Audrey
Puckett, who owns a successful clothing line in Hong Kong called When I Was 5. Audrey superbly organized the event because she wanted her friends in Hong Kong to meet the person responsible for keeping her looking young and beautiful — Dr. Victoria “Vicki” Belo no less, dahlings.
And boy, they really went out of their way to meet the world-renowned Filipino beauty doctor. The wing of Sevva was bustling with Hong Kong society’s dream guest list. These are the loveliest, most inspiring and remarkable women of Hong Kong.
Dr. Belo was invited to give a talk at Sense of Touch, one of Hong Kong’s well-renowned wellness centers located in Repulse Bay. It was organized by owner Anna Treier who invited friends and clients alike who wanted to hear the latest in beauty trends by none other than the beauty expert herself.
Dr. Belo stressed the fact that the Philippines is ideal for medical tourism because the Belo clinics have ma- chines from all over the world that can address all beauty issues —making it a one-stop beauty shop.
On both occasions, Dr. Belo encouraged and invited guests to come to Manille to experience the wonders of the Philippines and try Belo’s technologically advanced beauty treatments and procedures. Much to her delight, a number of women have already made plans to visit the country.
Hong Kong gave Dr. Belo a warm welcome and it deeply touched her.
“I’ve always liked coming to Hong Kong because I consider it a happy place. And now I made new friends that feel like family. Hong Kong now feels more like home,” the lady doctor enthused.
