Alden gets down and dirty

These two behind-thescene photos released by GMA were from the shoot of Victor Magtanggol (directed by Dominic Zapata) which is calculated to launch pretty boy Alden Richards as an action star. They were taken at a wet market where Alden got down and dirty in a fight scene in which he came out with ‘flying colors,’ thanks to his pre-shoot rigid (read: ‘life-threatening’) training. He plays the taga-pagtanggol (defender) of the oppressed.

Except for ‘leaks’ that new Kapuso John Estrada and Andrea Torres are among Alden’s co-stars… what about Janine Gutierrez and Jasmine Curtis Smith?...the network is mum on anything else connected with the series. Even the playdate is kept confidential and only piecemeal information is given to the media.

The big question is: Can Alden succeed as an action star like Coco Martin (FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano) did? Stay tuned.
