‘John Lloyd will always be a Kapamilya’

ABS-CBN has released an official statement to address recent reports on John Lloyd Cruz (photo).

“There is no truth to reports that John Lloyd Cruz approached ABS-CBN to request that he return to work, and that the network turned him down,” said Kane Errol Choa, head of Integrated Corporate Communications.

The actor is “still on an indefinite leave to attend to personal matters,” Choa said, adding that “ABS-CBN values its strong relationship with John Lloyd built through the years. ABSCBN’s doors are always open to John Lloyd, and he will always be a Kapamilya.”

The actor has reportedly been based in Cebu these past months to be with his pregnant actress-girlfriend Ellen Adarna.
