NYC remains top investment spot for wealthy Pinoys
As new megacities and regional hubs rise across the world, the US is still the leading investment hotspot for many, including Filipinos. In fact, the Philippines’ top real estate service provider, Santos Knight Frank, recently said the US ranks as the destination of choice for new homes of Filipino high net worth individuals.
Santos Knight Frank unveiled this and several key findings during the launch of The Wealth Report 2018 in Manila. Now on its12th edition, The Wealth Report offers an annual snapshot on the issues that are influencing wealthy individuals’ investment and lifestyle decisions.
While the US is home to many attractive metropolises, New York stands out as the city that matters most to the world’s wealthiest. The city is followed by London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago and Singapore.
“New York is one of the supercities that offers compelling investments for buyers who are diversifying their asset portfolio for the first time,” said Rick Santos, chairman and chief executive officer of Santos Knight Frank.
At The Wealth Report launch, Santos Knight Frank introduced 30 East 31st Street (30 E 31) to Philippines-based investors through its collaboration with Douglas Elliman, its US partner and New York’s leading brokerage firm.
30 E 31 is an upscale residential development that is positioned to be an iconic landmark in the famous Madison Square North Historic District in Manhattan, New York City, in a neighborhood more popularly known as NoMad (North of Madison Square Park). Located along Madison and Park Avenues, 30 E 31 is in the center of it all.
30 E 31 is developed by Ekstein Development Group, a real estate company with a portfolio ranging from unique rental properties to newly constructed ultra-luxury condominiums, and Pinnacle Group, an experienced owner and manager of residential properties throughout New York City. Construction is slated for completion in 2019.
Art deco
30 E 31’s visionary tower was designed by well-renowned architect and planner Morris Adjmi, known for crafting buildings that imbibe the history and character of the place where the structures are located.
Adjmi’s signature style of melding the past with the present is evident in 30 E 31’s gothic revival meets art deco design, which was impeccably executed using innovative materials. The result is a masterpiece that is contemporary and congruent with its environment, seamlessly blending into a culturally and historically rich neighborhood that is reminiscent of Tin Pan Alley and the Gilded Age.
Complementing the exquisitely-designed living spaces are exclusive amenities such as the sophisticated lounge that overlooks a viewing gar den, a private dining room with an center appointed with state-of-the-art en-suite catering kitchen and a fitness exercise equipment.
