‘Ambidextrous’ at SM Art center
The Renaissance Art Gallery, as part of its 15th anniversary exhibition, presents “Ambidextrous,” which is curated by critic Cid Reyes, currently on view at the SM Art Center.
The show celebrates the talent of artists who might be regarded as ambidextrous, or possessing the ability to paint with either hand with equal ease or dexterity. Both hands, in this case, do not literally signify the left and the right hand, but rather, that each hand can represent representational art, and the other, abstraction.
Participating artists are Art Bermido, Hermes Alegre, Remy Boquiren, Egai Fernandez, Aner Sebastian, Resty Tica, Sam Penaso, Jucar Raquepo, Addie Cukingnan, and Ronaldo Ruiz. “Ambidextrous” runs until July 4. The Art Center is at the 4/F., SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City. For inquiries, call or SMS 0925-555-7790.
