Bong Go: Davao publisher slay suspects identified

-

Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go on Sunday said authorities are doing their best to bring justice to Davao del Norte publisher Dennis Denora who was killed by motorcycle-riding men on June 7.

“This is confidential, but... they are zeroing in on the suspects,” Go said in an interview in Tagum, Davao del Norte.

Malacañang had earlier given assurance that the Presidential Task Force on Media Security is investigating the killing.

Denora, publisher of Trends and Times, a community paper, was killed in an ambush in Panabo City.

“This is a new case and will be investigated by the task force on media killings headed by Undersecretary (Joel) Egco,” presidential spokesman Harry Roque said in a press briefing in Davao City on Thursday.
