RCBC, Sun Life Grepa back financial inclusion

Listed Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) has expanded its partnershi­p with Sun Life Grepa Financial Inc. (Sun Life Grepa) to offer better financial security for the bank’s female and youth clientele through two savings accounts, eWoman and GoSavers.

For a minimum deposit of P15,000, women can avail of an eWoman Savings Account, while an eWoman Checking Account can be opened with a minimum deposit of P35,000.

The 2018 upgraded eWoman product bundle comes with free life insurance coverage that was increased to 300 from 200 percent of the opening deposit.

The previous P1 million coverage doubled to P2 million through Sun Life Grepa.

Meanwhile, GoSavers allows RCBC’s young depositors to kickstart their financial savings with an initial deposit of P100. With a minimum deposit of P10,000, depositors receive comprehens­ive insurance package for both themselves and their parents from Sun Life Grepa. It is exclusivel­y available for individual­s 21 years old and below.

The new programs are part of the financial inclusivit­y thrust of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
