Boy, 8, found dead in Burnham Park

BAGUIO CITY – An eight-year-old boy was found dead in Burnham Park on Thursday.

The half-naked body of Roldan Antipuesto was recovered at the old library parking area along Legarda street.

A bloodied stone believed used to smash the victim’s head was found near his body.

Randy Doria, 26, a scavenger, who according to witnesses was last seen with the victim, was arrested in a follow-up operation.

Doria reportedly admitted killing the boy in retaliation for his father’s “inhumane” treatment of the suspect.

Police said an autopsy will be conducted to determine if the victim was also sexually abused.
