This two-day best practices and capacity building training program is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants in recognizing and generating the resources of their own educational institutions and finding ways to utilize them to the fullest.
This unique program will provide the participants with new approaches in ensuring that resources are used to deliver values which the management of higher educational institutions (HEIs) seeks to achieve.
This program will feature course director and lecturer, Rufo Mendoza, PhD, CPA. He was the chairman of finance and accounting department and program director of the master in development management in public finance at the Asian Institute of Management.
He was the vice chair of the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy and the chair of Continuing Professional Development Council for Accountancy.
His consulting experiences include engagements with The World Bank, Australian Agency for International Development, United States Agency for International Development, United Nations Development Programme, and European Commission.
He has written four books and 21 research and technical papers. He was a national awardee as Outstanding CPA in Professional Development (2008) and in Government Service (2010) of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
This program is open to the general public.
Government employees attending private sector led training are exempted from the P2,000 limit set by COA based on DBM circular 563 dated April 22, 2016.
