RAYMOND TANGIDAY: FIGURATIVE EXPRESSIONS

-

Although painting was his major, Raymond Tangiday became open to many other paths like installation art, sculpture and mixed media when he graduated from the Ford Academy of the Arts in 1996.

This has allowed him to create new styles and unique works in the figurative manner with the human figure as the main subject. A former art instructor at the Ford Academy of the Arts, Raymond is now a fulltime visual artist who works with traditional materials like acrylic and oil paints, wood, cement, as well as papiermâché, found objects, and indigenous materials. He has exhibited his works in Davao, Manila, as well as in Vietnam, Thailand, China and Singapore.
