Italianni’s best-kept secret recipes are back

-

There’s nothing quite like rediscovering old favorites that put a smile on your face. Italianni’s is bringing back these best-kept secret recipes — dishes that were enjoyed by many during family celebrations and memorable moments like the signature appetizer, Eggplant Parmigiana, deepfried eggplants covered with tomato cream sauce and topped with melted mozzarella cheese.

Another starter making a comeback is Tomato and Truffle Gorgonzola Mushroom Bruschetta, traditional Italian toasted crostini bread topped with fresh tomatoes, truffle gorgonzola mushroom with a splash of truffle balsamic.

Then, there’s the Shrimp Pomelo Salad — grilled shrimps, fresh pomelo chunks, marinated cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, black olives and crumbled feta cheese on a bed of mix greens tossed with honey-vinaigrette dressing.

Travel back in time with well-loved specialties like Seafood Stew, cooked with shrimps, calamari, clams, dory fillet and Chilean mussels simmered in seafood Cioppino sauce served with garlic Tuscan slices, and Truffle Mushroom Risotto, arborio risotto with oyster and porcini mushroom in truffle cream sauce with grated parmesan cheese and fresh arugula.

Missing those classic Italianni’s pastas? Back on the menu are Chicken Picatta, basil-pesto chicken breast fillet topped with marinara sauce and served with porcini spaghetti; and Frutti Di Mare, fettuccine pasta tossed with scallops, shrimps, Chilean mussels and clams in a creamy white-wine sauce.
