mark renews pact with gmA network

Mark Herras celebrates his 13th year in showbiz with an exclusive contract that he signed with GMA Network on Aug 16.

Looking back on his humble beginnings as the first Starstruck Ultimate Male Survivor, Mark feels grateful that his home network has been supportive of him.

GMA chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon commended the loyalty of the Kapuso star, “I am very glad that he’s succeeding in his craft.”

GMA Entertainm­ent Group SVP Lilybeth Rason- able reveals that the actor will be seen on primetime soon. She also noted that Mark expressed his interest in doing character roles, “We’ve seen his developmen­t as an actor, kaya natutuwa tayo. So we want to give him more challengin­g roles.”

Present in the contract signing were Gozon, Rasonable, VP for Corporate Affairs and Communicat­ions Angel Javier Cruz, assistant vice president for Talent Imaging and Marketing Simoun Ferrer and senior talent manager Joy Marcelo.
