‘Diversion’ at Art Anton
Abstraction has been proclaimed dead as often as it hasbeen resurrected. In the hands of artists with a capacity for vision beyond the literal and physical reality of objects, landscapes, and portraits, abstraction or non-representational art is a liberation and a pure diversion.
On Aug. 25, Art Anton opens an all- abstract show titled “Diversion.” Participating artists are: Demosthenes Campos, Gary Custodio, Jane Ebarle, Clarence Eduarte, Allain Hablo, Rick Hernandez, Fitz Herrera, Eugene Jarque, Binong Javier, Jeline Laporga, Dennis “Sio” Montera, Frank Nobleza, Sam Penaso, Jay Ragma, Alfonso Recto and Valen Valero. “Diversion” runs until Sept. 15.
