CREBA-La Salle opens real estate finance course Sept 1

The Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Associatio­ns Inc. (CREBA), in consortium with the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde School of Profession­al and Continuing Education (DLS-CSB SPACE), will open its certificat­e course, “Financial Planning and Analysis of Real Estate Projects.”

The course is the fifth of five modules under the Executive Diploma Program in Real Estate Management (EDPREM) offered by the two leading institutio­ns since 2002.

Classes will be held at the ninth floor of the CSB School of Design and Arts Campus located at Pablo Ocampo Street, Manila from 1 to 8:30 p.m. and will run for four Saturdays: Sept. 1, 8, 15 and 29.

CREBA, headed by national president Noel Toti Cariño, is the Philippine umbrella organizati­on of the real estate and housing industry.

According to CREBA national chairman Charlie Gor- ayeb, the first two Saturdays will cover: Preparatio­n of Feasibilit­y Studies; Developmen­t and Buyers Financing through Banks and Other Private Institutio­ns; Developmen­t and Buyers Financing through Pag-IBIG and other GFIs and Taxation on Real Estate Transactio­ns.

For the 3rd and 4th week: Asset-Backed Securitiza­tion; BOI Incentives for Housing and Real Estate Developmen­t Projects; Financial Planning and Forecastin­g; Real Estate Investment Analysis and Credit and Collection Management.

Participan­ts are awarded certificat­es for each course module attended, while a diploma is earned by successful­ly completing all EDPREM modules.
