PHL, ISRAEL SIGNS COOPERATION FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS:

Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez signs a Memorandum of Understanding with his Israeli counterpart Economy Minister Eli Cohen to encourage foreign investments in both countries through exchange of information and provision of business assistance to companies. Lopez expressed the country’s intention to expand its economic ties and cooperation with non-traditional trading partners. He encouraged Israel companies to join the Philippines’ economic growth story and contribute to creating more jobs and opportunities for Filipinos. Both parties also agreed to establish a joint economic committee to strengthen economic and commercial ties. The signing was witnessed by President Duterte and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Sen. Richard Gordon and Davao Mayor Sara Duterte.
