A reunion of star Circle ‘graduates’

Last Aug. 19, Bing Manalo organized a reunion for Star Circle “graduates” Bojo Molina, and Don Laurel and his wife Aurora Halili-Laurel who were here for a vacation. Now based in Toronto, the Laurels have been away for 17 years while Bojo and his family live in Guam.

Don (from Batch 5) is a Toronto police officer and Aurora (from Batch 3) is a zumba instructor. They have three daughters. Bojo (from Batch 3) flies to the Philippine­s twice a year for business matters.

Also present at the reunion were Andrea del Rosario (Batch 3, now Vice Mayor of Calatagan, Batangas), Luis Alandy (with his wife Joselle Fernandez), Diego Castro (Batch 2, with his wife Angela Cancio Lagunsad; they are both broadcaste­rs at UNTV), and Denise Joaquin and Me-Ann Vargas (from Batches 5 and 8, respective­ly).

Bing was assisted in entertaini­ng the Balikbayan stars by David Fabros (former ABS-CBN Talent Center officer).
