Send Christmas mail packages early — PhlPost
To ensure that letters and packages will reach their destinations in time for Christmas, the public and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have been advised to send them early, the Philippine Postal Corp. (PhlPost) said yesterday.
PhlPost chief Joel Otarra said mail and parcels should be sent before the prescribed dates to guarantee timely arrival during the holiday season.
The public has been advised to send their items not later than the specified date to ensure delivery before Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Holiday-related domestic and international express mails (DEMS) should be sent not later than Dec. 12 and Dec. 10, respectively.
Domestic and international registered mail should be sent before Dec. 3 and not later than Nov. 26, respectively.
Domestic ordinary mail should be sent on or before Dec. 5, international ordinary (air) mail not later than Dec. 3 and international surface (sea) mail on or before Oct. 17.
