Toby’s Sports marks ‘40’ with KO event
Toby’s Sports marked its 40th year with a grand celebration called It’s
Game Time on Aug. 30 at the Metrotent Convention Center in Metrowalk Plaza, Meralco Ave., Pasig City.
The occasion paid tribute to the men and women behind the success of Toby’s Sports in the past four decades, as it coincides with the retirement of its CEO Bobby Claudio. During the event, Toby’s Sports treated its sports-luxe-clad guests with special performances from Gary Valenciano; the University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe, the winningest squad in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition; The Juans; and DJ Jon Tupaz.
Toby’s Sports has a team of sports specialists and enthusiasts who are ready to share their expertise with anyone who walks into any of its over 50 stores nationwide. The
establishment has also extended the shopping experience well beyond mall hours with its e-commerce store, www.tobys.com.
