Asian Artists talents in C1 Originals fest

-

Rufa Mae Quinto topbills the romantic comedy Bagyong Bheverlynn, one of the feature films in competition at the C1 (Cinema One) Originals Festival 2018, which runs until Oct. 21. She will once again knock the audience off their seats with her hilarious portrayal of Bheverlynn, a heartbroken woman who has the same name as the approaching supertyphoon.

“Like what (my character) says in the movie, I love team myself. I miss the big screen kaya naman sa aking pagbabalik ay itinodo ko na ang pagpapatawa. No one will escape the wrath of Bagyong Bheverlynn. I’m thankful because I was given the chance to do a movie. I hope maaliw at mabigyan ko ng inspirasyon ang mga manonood. Whatever mood they are in, worry no more because Bheverlynn is here. Tulad ng isang malakas na bagyo at ng personal na bagyong pinagdadaanan ni Bheverlynn sa pelikula, lilipas din ang lahat, di ba?”

Directed by Bebs Gohetia, Bagyong Bheverlynn also stars EA Guzman.

Meanwhile, Jovani Manansala is excited about his film titled Mamu; and a Mother Too, also an official entry to the C1 Originals Festival. He plays the hunky Franco in the movie.

“I feel blessed. I told myself to practice and to (give) my best in giving justice to my role. Hindi ko dapat sayangin ang tiwala ng mga taong nagbigay sa akin ng chance to star in the movie. I enjoyed shooting the film and my co-stars were very supportive,” Jovani shared.

Mamu; and a Mother Too is directed by Rod Singh and also stars Iyah Mina, Aaron Villaflor, EJ Jallorina and Markus Paterson.

Rufa Mae and Jovani are talents of Asian Artists Agency.
