Six new kinds of rolls and sushi at Kimpura

Celebrating its 48th year this October, Kimpura Japanese restaurant has been a family favorite of many generations. Executive chef Nihara has prepared six new entrees. Gyu aburi roll is torched slices of beef and ebi tempura with boiled asparagus, cream cheese, and spring onions and spicy miso mayonnaise. Ebi kani aburi roll is shrimp and crab, mat-rolled with aunori, cream cheese, cucumber, tempura crunch with orange mayonnaise.
Aburi nigiri sushi has shake (mayo miso), kajiki toro (mayo ume), hamachi (mayo negi miso), and
unagi (sauce and sancio). Its salmon-skin aburi roll has chopped salmon with teriyaki sauce with spicy salmon skin bits. The aburi sushi gunkan-style has beef, spicy salmon and California mango bits. Do try hiyashi tori men, cold ramen noodles topped with kani, shredded chicken breast, salad greens, with scrambled egg on crispy rice paper.

Tokyo Tokyo has finally unveiled a new contemporary look and feel. “From its inception, Tokyo Tokyo has always been a pioneer in masterfully integrating traditional and modern Japanese elements to create signature meals that satisfy the taste of every Filipino, elevating their dining experiences to a whole new level,” said Natalie Perez, Tokyo Tokyo’s vice president for marketing.
The new look and feel was conceptualized by multi-awarded architect and interior designer James “JJ” Acuna of JJ Acuna/ Bespoke Studio. “The store look and feel is romanticized through intricate design details and elements, which hark back to the iconic street-food culture of Japan,” said Acuna.
