Feast on flavors from around the world at the Shang’s GourmetFest
Get ready to take your taste buds on a gastronomic trip around the world as Shangri-La Plaza once again curates a delicious spread for mall guests at its crowd-drawing culinary event GourmetFest, happening at the Grand Atrium from Oct. 18 to 21.
Mall guests can explore the festival to discover a world of delicious eats at discounted rates. They can likewise look forward to live demos, workshops led by some of the best chefs in the country, and exciting promos from the restaurants.
“We’re delighted to once more host the GourmetFest this year,” says Lala Fojas, executive vice president and general manager of Shangri-La Plaza. “We always look forward to gathering our roster of restaurants and show mall guests that the Shang is the go-to destination for the best food in town.”
Rich Hispanic flavors at Spanish bistro Wobbly Pan. At Brotzeit diners get a German culinary experience, while Pasto carries signature Italian dishes and Balboa fuses American dining with the cuisine. Paper Moon’s crepe cakes and La Creperie’s famous crepes are sweet treats. Teppanyaki chefs at Akira and grill masters at SumoSam take Japanese dining to the next level. Zao, which offers a taste of Vietnam, and delight in Arya’s Persian cuisine as well. Yummy meals await at Thai BBQ and Pepper Lunch, or have a bowl or two at Ganso Shabuway. Shi Lin’s xiao long bao soup dumplings are a crown fave. There are all-American offerings at Epicurious and Tender Bob’s and sandwiches at Pages Deli and Pepi Cubano. Fill up on pizza at California Pizza Kitchen, and seafood lovers will delight in Red Crab.
Diners at the Shangri-La Plaza can also get a chance to win a trip for two to Singapore via Singapore Airlines with hotel accommodations and Singapore Explorer Pass Tickets in the Gourmet fest Dining Promo. Dine in any restaurant at Shangri-La Plaza ongoing until Nov. 18 with a minimum spend of P500, and you get one stamp on your GourmetFest Promo Card.
Beginner cooks and foodies can also look forward to discovering the ultimate culinary experience as Metro Channel and Metro.Style launch the first leg of the Metro Kitchen Series on October 20, 3 p.m. at the Grand Atrium.
