Faria is a Brazilian general surgeon and plastic surgeon with specialty on functional and cosmetic aspects of the abdominal wall. For decades now, he has been creating public awareness on the importance of the core muscles.
For the past two years, he was always invited as a speaker in the International Congress of Orthopedics to present his work in the abdominal wall to treat the core muscle for spine stability.
Faria has more than 30 years of experience in treating post-surgery deformities by using the traditional open methods and the minimally invasive endoscopic methods that he pioneered in 1992. He has numerous series of patients using the methods for more than 20 years showing hundred percent successful results.
