EPLDT enters into strategic partnership with PascualLab

- By RICHMOND MERCURIO

Digital business solutions enabler ePLDT Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with Pascual Laboratories Inc. to provide the pharmaceutical company and its teams with an office suite of solutions that will help address several work challenges.

“Innovation is part of our core values but most of the innovation is at the manufacturing side of our business. The operations and services we have here in the main office should be on equal footing and of equal priority when it comes to innovation. This is where we need Office 365 the most,” PascualLab president and chief executive officer Jappy Pascual said.

“With the challenges posed by an ever-changing world, it is vital that we remain relevant in adopting technological advancements that improve experience, efficiency and multiply results,” he added.

ePLDT is the top cloud solutions provider of Microsoft Office 365 in the Philippines.

Office 365 is a suite of productivity tools, which allows users to work anytime, anywhere, and on any device.

With Microsoft Office 365, PascualLab’s processes and services will be delivered through cloud to save time and resources, access business information and data in a secure platform, and revolutionize collaboration through business applications that employees are already familiar with.

“The partnership we forged with PascualLab gave us the opportunity to help them secure a more digital future. As new digital technologies arise, evolving companies like PascualLab are now more empowered to make smarter and valuable decisions that have the potential to transform the way we see and experience especially along the lines of the agriceutical industry, where, PascualLab through its subsidiary Leonie Agri Corp., is the country’s trailblazer,” said ePLDT group senior vice president and chief operating officer Nerisse Ramos.

To further improve the way it produces, manufactures, and markets its products, PascualLab saw the need to redefine its internal processes to grow its business with better employee collaboration, have a more secure sharing and storing of files, and improve all-around productivity.

Among the challenges is the multi-location of the PascualLab’s offices, which had affected the seamless everyday flow of work at its corporate office, plant and farm.

“The workforce of today is evolving rapidly. They are empowered, agile and dynamic and offer enormous potential for enterprises of all sizes. Through the right digital solutions, businesses can harness and utilize that potential. We are happy to partner with PascualLab in pursuing that mission,” PLDTSmart Enterprise Groups senior vice president and head Jovy Hernandez said.
