Gabi ng Lagim, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS) Halloween Special has revolution­ized how horror features are done, by commission­ing seasoned TV and film directors to depict real-life accounts into three documentar­ies. For the first time in Gabi ng Lagim’s history, KMJS will give viewers not three, but four horror stories to watch out for.

Manila City Hall has always been haunted by mysterious stories surroundin­g its structure. KMJS long-time director Rember Gelera interprets these chilling accounts from the employees in his documentar­y. Meanwhile, controvers­ial paranormal investigat­or Ed Caluag returns to KMJS this week to look into these strange incidents.

In Visayas, horror tales about the undead continue to surface and cause fear among the locals. Cannes Film Festival director Adolf Alix Jr. brings the locals’ creepy testimonia­ls into our TV screens in his Amaranhig.

The heart-stopping story of a haunted hospital in Pampanga will send shivers down your spine because of the rumored monster that allegedly roams inside its corridors. Peabody winning director Aaron Papins Mendoza gives life to this creature in his Tiyanak.

Jay Costura’s name made rounds in social media because of his unique premonitio­ns and ability to predict future events like the crash landing of Xiamen Airlines, the burning down of a resort casino, the destructiv­e tornado in Marikina and other tragic incidents. He will be portrayed by Ang Pagdadalag­a ni Maximo Oliveros lead actor Nathan Lopez in Third Eye, directed by Cinemalaya winner Zig Dulay.

The Halloween special will be handled by GMA Public Affairs’ resident directors.
