Bristol motorcycles unveiled

-

BRISTOL Motorcycles, a new boutique motorcycle brand, was unveiled recently at the Makina Moto Tiangge and Test Ride Consortium by Bristol’s CEO, Anthony Chua and Makina’s president, Zach Lucero.

Offering a unique, customizable European-inspired styling, Bristol features Italian design, electronics from Delphi Technologies USA, injection components from Mikuni Japan, and powertrain from Taiwan Hartford Industrial Co. Ltd. The bikes are similar to United Kingdom’s Herald and AJS brands.

Some of its unique features are a ceramic four-valve cyliner head and an oil-cool system to keep its engine cool even in long-distance driving, a heavy-duty inverted front fork for added comfort and luxury, heavyduty alloy rims, and a digital fuel gauge for an accurate reading of the fuel tank.

Combining the best of both generations with its vintage look and modern specifications, Bristol presents two of its high-end models: the Bristol Classic 400i and the Bristol BR 400i cafe racer. Both are available in two trims (with or without Anti-Lock Braking System or ABS) and are powered by Euro 4 4-stroke 400cc engine rated at 28hp with 33Nm of torque.

The Bristol Classic 400i is equipped with telescopic front fork and adjustable rear suspension as well as disc brakes for the front and rear, while the Bristol BR 400i comes with twinpipe stainless steel exhaust system with stylish mufflers and all-weather tires. Its front fork is telescopic and its rear suspension is adjustable with remote reservoir shocks.

“Perhaps the hottest bike at Makina Moto Tiangge,” said ‘Ride

PH with Jay Taruc’ on a short video review of Bristol. Bristol’s retro-styled motorbikes, born from the passion of free-spirited, fun loving twowheeled adventurers, guarantees agility and gives unadulterated riding pleasure at a competitive introductory price of P188,000 (for the Bristol BR and Classic 400i) and P208,000 (for the Bristol BR 400i Ω ABS and Classic 400i Ω ABS).

It can be purchased through cash or installment plan at Bristol Motorcycles’ showroom located at 10th Avenue corner 4th Street, Caloocan City.

It is exclusively distributed by Sinski Motorcycle Philippines, Inc., a motorcycle assembly and distribution company established in 2001 which started with its namesake brand and has since introduced several other quality Asian brands such as CPI (Collaboration, Professionalism and Innovation from Taiwan) and prides itself in bringing quality motorcycle models for the Filipino riding market.

“We at Sinski have always believed in giving Filipinos affordably priced quality products. Our new Bristol Motorcycles are made with top-grade international quality components and meticulously built by skilled craftsmen to give Filipinos a competitively-priced ride they can be proud of,” Chua explained.

The company believes that their motorcycles are not just a means of going from point A to B; that is why they ensured that parts are readily available and running costs would not burn a whole in one’s pocket.
