OAKLAND, California – Stephen Curry has counted on staying healthy after injuries limited him to 51 games last season. Everything was going according to plan for the Golden State star – until Thursday night.

The two-time MVP left with a leg injury and the Warriors were unable to recover in a 134-111 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks that snapped their eight-game winning streak.

“He seems good to me. I’ve got to talk to him tomorrow and see how he’s doing,” teammate Kevin Durant said. “Hopefully he’s doing well.”

Eric Bledsoe scored seven straight points during Milwaukee’s big third quarter and finished with 26. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists as the Bucks handed the Warriors their first defeat at home this season.

The two-time defending NBA champions were already missing All-Star Draymond Green and then lost Curry midway through the third. Curry strained the adductor muscle in his left leg and went to the locker room shortly thereafter. He did not return.

Curry grabbed at his inner thigh after trying to contest Bledsoe’s shot in transition at the 6:50 mark of the third. He was receiving treatment postgame and is expected to have an MRI on Friday.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 24 points and Durant had 17 points, nine assists and seven rebounds.

Eric Bledsoe scored six of his game-high 26 points during a second-quarter flurry that allowed the Milwaukee Bucks to build a double-digit lead en route to a shockingly easy 134-111 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday in Oakland, California.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 24 points and Malcolm Brogdon 20 for the Bucks, who had lost two of three after a 7-0 start.

Klay Thompson led Golden State with 24 points on a night when backcourt mate Stephen Curry missed all four of his 3-point attempts and was held to 10 points. Curry exited for good in the third quarter due to a left adductor strain, and he will undergo an MRI exam Friday.

The loss snapped Golden State’s eightgame winning streak and was the Warriors’ first at home this season in seven outings.

In Phoenix, Kyrie Irving recorded a seasonhigh 39 points and also had seven rebounds and six assists to help Boston rally for an overtime 116-109 victory at Phoenix.

Marcus Morris added 17 points and drained the tying 3-point basket with 1.1 seconds left in regulation as Boston recovered from a 22-point, third-quarter deficit. Jaylen Brown connected on the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime to cap a 17-point effort and Terry Rozier added 10 points.

Devin Booker scored a season-high 38 points and added nine assists and TJ Warren scored a season-high 29 points for Phoenix, which has dropped nine of its 11 games this season.

In Oklahoma, Paul George had 20 points and 11 rebounds as Oklahoma City won its seventh consecutive game, beating Houston, 98-80.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak by the Rockets, who were led by James Harden’s 19 points. However, Harden shot just 7-of-19 from the floor and 4-of-12 from behind the 3-point arc. Houston’s 80-point scoring effort was the lowest for an NBA team this season.

Steven Adams added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Thunder, while Terrance Ferguson hit four 3-pointers en route to 14 points.

In Portland, Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 48 points as Portland downed visiting Los Angeles, 116-105.

Lillard scored 25 points and McCollum added 23 as the Trail Blazers earned their third consecutive win and their sixth in the past seven outings. Jusuf Nurkic contributed 16 points and nine rebounds.

Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams each scored 20 points for the Clippers. Montrezl Harrell and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander both chipped in 19 points, and Tobias Harris had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the losers.
