Up ‘claws’ and personal with Red Lobster

-

Filipino foodies will soon enjoy freshly-cooked seafood the same way Beyoncé does as Red Lobster opens its Manila branch this month at S Maison, MOA Complex. The pop diva mentioned the No. 1 seafood chain in America in one of the hits of her album, Formation and it generated such a buzz online that it trended on Twitter and increased restaurant sales by 33 percent. In appreciation for her love, Red Lobster has since renamed one of its drink concoctions as the Bey Breeze.

It is easy to understand what the Bey buzz is all about, as Red Lobster offers dishes that are meant to delight seafood lovers with their signature freshness. Its most recommended dish is the Seafood Feast, a huge entrée composed of Maine lobster tail, steamed wildcaught North American snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi — all smothered with mouth-watering butter sauce — then served with wild rice and fries.

The restaurant offers even more catchy thrills with its Live Lobster station, where guests get to pick their choice.

Other dishes that will excite the appetite are the Seaside Nachos, Signature Shrimp & Cocktail and Bleu Cheese Salad for starters, Shrimp & Kani Pizza, Bar Harbor Seafood Bake, Cod New Orleans, Barramundi and Truffle Mac N Cheese.

Red Lobster is likewise popular for its signature Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Almost one million of these freshlybaked garlicky cheesy biscuits are served daily at Red Lobster. It even has its own Facebook page with over one million followers.
