5 Chinese men nabbed for gang rape

Five of eight Chinese men who allegedly raped a Chinese woman in a hotel in Muntinlupa City last Tuesday have been arrested.

The suspects, all call center agents, were identified as Wu Zhixiong, 24; Sun Yunpeng, 23; Huang Lin, 19; Zhang Le, 24; and Jiao Hang, 29.

Police said three of the suspects grabbed the 26-year-old woman, also a call center agent, from her room and brought her to another room of the same hotel where they were billeted at the Madrigal Business Park at around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

The three suspects called the other men. They bound and gagged the woman, then raped her.

When the suspects left the woman in the room after the assault, she started shouting for help. A guest heard her and called police.

Officers from the Police Community Precinct 5 rushed to the hotel and arrested five of the suspects. Three suspects escaped.
