BATANGAS PORT HITS RECORD CARGO VOLUME IN NOVEMBER:

The Batangas Container Terminal, managed by listed Asian Terminals Inc., has continuous­ly stepped up its role as internatio­nal trade facilitato­r in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) and effectivel­y helping decongest metro roads. Early in November, BCT achieved a new operations milestone as it broke through the 200,000-TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) cargo volume mark for the first time in a single year since its start-up in 2010.
