ANZ Bank opens modern branch in Makati

Australia New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (ANZ Bank) recently moved its Philippine branch to a new location at Solaris One Building along Dela Rosa St. in Makati City.

ANZ Philippine chief executive officer Anna Green said the new office offers state-of-the-art facilities.

“ANZ has been in operation in the Philippine­s for 28 years and we are committed to help advance the local economy. Today’s move is a testament to our commitment to our institutio­nal customers in the Philippine­s and the entire Asia Pacific region,” Green said.

The Philippine branch provides a suite of institutio­nal banking product and services including domestic and foreign currency lending, trade and supply chain services, payments and cash management, foreign exchange, commodity, interest rate hedging and debt capital markets products.

ANZ’s institutio­nal business has a broad internatio­nal footprint and it has an ambition of being the best bank that facilitate­s institutio­nal customers with trade and capital flows across 34 locations it operates in.

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Chuchi Fonacier was the guest of honor during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

ANZ, founded in 1835 and headquarte­red in Australia, provides banking as well as financial products and services to eight million retail, commercial, and institutio­nal customers around the world.
