PWA 2019 lines up all female photographers as speakers
Photoworld Asia 2019 is another year for the longest running photography event in Southeast Asia.
The much-awaited nonstop event will be held at the New Activity Center of Glorietta on Palm Avenue for the trade fair which will showcase the latest photography products and convention at the Asia Institute of Management (AIM).
The annual event is organized by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) under the leadership of Pablo Beltran as president and Eduviges Huang as chairman.
The FPPF is behind the continuous holding of photography courses for beginners and professional photographers in the country at The Fort Santiago in Intramuros, Manila.
The Federation also conducts photography courses in the provinces as well as government agencies, companies and schools.
PWA 2019 has two distinctions. This year’s event has no foreign speakers and speakers all are lady photographers. The speakers are multi-awarded who will unselfishly share their experiences and expertise in photography.
The theme of PWA 2019 is #Photography.
Chairman is Catalino Celzo Jr., a multi-awarded photographer who just retired from a hotel job after 36 years. He is from Bolinao, Pangasinan.
The speakers and their respective topics are: Lisa Watson and Angeli Jane Blanco, “Social Media Publishing”; RC Sustiguer, “Your Personal Brand as a Photographer”; Vivian Valdez, “Mobile Phone Photography”; Andrea Genota, “Natural Light Portraiture”; Peachy Hernandez, “Underwater Photography”; Rachel Lobangco, “Concept Photography”; Shaira Luna, “Fashion and Advertising”; Joan Bondoc, “Photojournalism”; Jaja Samaniego, “8 Truths I Learned from Life and Photography”; and Hannah Reyes Morales, “Telling Stories Through Photography.”
