Missing UP student council leader found

A student council leader at the University of the Philippine­s in Diliman, Quezon City who went missing on Sunday has been found alive.

Director Guillermo Eleazar, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), said yesterday that Patricia Nicdao is in good condition and was reunited with her family. He did not provide other details.

Nicdao’s mother, Susan, was reunited with her daughter sometime Sunday night. She did not elaborate.

“She’s home now,” Susan said in a brief phone interview.

Sources said Nicdao was found somewhere in Batangas province.

Nicdao, head of the College of Arts and Letters Student Council, went missing after she left her house in Cubao for her morning yoga class.

Her relatives and friends were able to track her phone at past noon somewhere in Biñan City, Laguna.
