3 killed in drug busts
The alleged leader of a drug ring and two other suspected drug dealers were shot dead in stings in Zambales, Bulacan and Laguna in the past two days, police said.
Alih Nali, alleged leader of the Karansang drug ring operating in Central Luzon, reportedly shot police officers in Sitio Tahimik, Barangay Calapandayan in Subic. His companions Rolando delos Santos and Aiza Sally Diagracia were arrested.
Nali was tagged in the killing of a police officer and a civilian asset of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Police said a rifle, two grenades, a shotgun and various types of ammunition were recovered from the fatality.
Senior Superintendent Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said Augusto Ojano resisted arrested after selling a sachet of shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Sto. Cristo, San Jose del Monte. The fatality’s alleged cohorts, Arturo Marasigan and Nicole Repollo, were arrested.
The fatality reportedly yielded four sachets of shabu and an improvised gun while seven sachets of shabu were reportedly recovered from the arrested suspects.
Limuel Inopre, alias Tarzan, who was on the drug watchlist, was killed in a sting in Barangay Canlalay, Biñan, according to Senior Superintendent Eleazar Matta, Laguna police director.
In Pangasinan, Juanito Molina, 44, a driver of the alleged leader of a criminal syndicate, was shot dead in Barangay Bantug, Umingan on Sunday.
Molina is said to be a close aide of Loida Gonzales, whose group is tagged in contract killings and illegal drugs in Pangasinan.
