If Xian & Louise were fancy-free, would they fall for each other?

In real life, Xian is committed to Kim Chiu and Louise to a non-showbiz guy

- Ricardo F. Lo

If you and your loved one have one last trip together before you part ways, how would you say goodbye? In Viva Films’ Hanggang

Kailan? (formerly titled Baka Hanggang Dito Na Lang), written by Onay Sales and directed by Bona Fajardo, Xian Lim as Donnie and Louise delos Reyes as Kath find themselves in that situation as they spend their last four days and three nights in Saga, Japan. Unlike other movies of this type where two people meet and fall in love, in Hanggang Kailan?, Donnie and Kath still love each other but they have to break up anyway because Donnie is committed to somebody else, while Kath remained the “third party” for two years.

Louise and Xian are both committed to somebody else in real life, she to a non-showbiz guy and he to Kim Chiu. But have they ever found themselves in the same situation as that of their Hanggang Kailan characters? How do you see yourselves in

your characters?

Louise: Like Kath, I was once blinded by my love towards my ex.

Xian: Donnie’s character in Hanggang Kailan? portrays every man in a relationship that has reached a point where he finds love at the wrong time. The movie tackles the issue if a man can love two women in a relationship. The topic of having a “third party” is taboo but it happens and we cannot hide the fact that it happens.

In my life, I don’t think I can love two women at the same time. Maybe if I can put in a situation where my heart will be asked who between the two will I choose, I will let go of the first one because it only means that you don’t love the first person for that question to even come up.

Do you know each other’s kiliti spot and how did you find it?

Louise: Xian laughs a lot. I don’t have to find his kiliti spot. Xian: Hindi ko alam kung mayroon ba siya o wala.

(To Louise) Xian has Kim. What about you, who do you have?

Louise: His name is Jino. We’ve been together for 10 months but it feels like 10 years already. He brings out the best in me.

What part of each other’s body do you find, ehem, delicious?

Louise: I think his…chest? Hahaha! Xian is very strict with his diet and he exercised and jogged a lot during our stay in Japan. Xian: I’ll choose a safe answer. Pipiliin ko ang mga mata dahil doon mo masesense kung totoo nga ba ang pinapakita niya sayo. Truth over everything else. Truth is delicious.

If you were to massage each other, anong part ng katawan n’yo ang uunahin

mong pipisil-pisilin? Louise: Oh, wow! Hahaha!!! Arms? Again, he is very disciplined in terms of his diet and exercise so every part of his body has muscles. Hahaha!!! Xian: Kamay or likod. May malisya na pag iba pa ang nahahawakan. For your love/kissing scenes, nakailang rehearsals at takes kayo?

Louise: Few only. He was very gentle and he always asked, “Is this okay, is that okay?”

Xian: We did not rehearse any of the kissing scenes. We talked about it first with our director to make sure that our intimate scenes are done professionally and precisely.

What’s your favorite fantasy (elaborate)? Louise: Hahaha! Please elaborate. Xian: My favorite fantasy is being in control of any situation.

What’s the naughtiest thing you have done to somebody? Louise: I don’t wanna answer. Xian: Having the ability to turn a serious conversation and make a green joke out of it.
